OPTICAL DISK DRIVE AND OPTICAL DISK REPRODUCING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive capable of preventing the out of servo due to the generation of distortion of an actuator control signal caused by the high speed rotation of an optical disk thereby stably controlling an actuator. SOLUTION: In an optical disk reproducing device, a signal recording surface of the optical disk is irradiated with a light beam through an objective lens, and the light reflected on the optical disk is converted to an electrical signal by a detector, then the actuator control signal for driving the objective lens is generated. The actuator control signal is monitored to control the rotational speed of a spindle motor or characteristics of an actuator servo loop. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
