<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve system efficiency of a fuel cell generating system equipped with a reformer part. <P>SOLUTION: A vapor/heat exchanger 35 transfers steam and heat of anode offgas to city gas by having city gas passing through a desulfurizer 27 in counter-current contact with high-temperature anode offgas containing steam exhausted from a fuel cell 40 utilizing an off-gas channel 36 and a city-gas channel 37 divided by a hollow fiber membrane with high selective steam transparency. Since the heat of the anode off-gas is transferred like this to the city gas supplied to a reformer 12, temperature of the city gas supplied to the reformer 12 rises so that reforming reaction at the reformer 12 proceeds well. Moreover, since steam in the anode offgas is also retrieved to be supplied to the reformer 12, amount of heat in an evaporator 33 can be cut off by that much. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
