PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the data amount and data processing amount concerned with a display of the location of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A location-of-vehicle grasping device 16 displays a mark indicating the vehicle 12 on the display 17 together with a map based on the information on the vehicle 12 transmitted from an on-vehicle terminal 13 loaded in the vehicle 12. At the time of preparing the displaying data, the grasping device 16 decides the kilometer-post at the shortest distance as the position of the vehicle 12 to be managed by comparing the distances between a plurality of kilometer-posts provided along the traveling road of the vehicle 12 and the transmitted position of the vehicle 12 with each other, and puts the mark indicating the vehicle 12 on the decided position of the displayed map.
