PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for association reaction between receptor and ligand capable of efficiently bringing a receptor or a ligand with a ligand or a receptor fixed to a biochemical analytical unit into an association reaction and capable of generating biochemical analytical data having superior reproducibility and quantitativeness. SOLUTION: The method for association reaction between a receptor and a ligand is characterized in that it accommodates the biochemical analytical unit 1, in which a plurality of absorptive regions 4 containing a receptor or a ligand are formed spaced apart from each other, and a reaction solution containing a ligand or a receptor labeled by a labeling substance in a reaction bag 8 formed of a material having flexibility, allows a pressing roller 22 to abut on one surface of the reaction bag, allows the reaction solution to forcibly flow across the plurality of absorptive regions of the biochemical analytical unit by moving the reaction bag against the pressing roller, and allows the receptor or the ligand contained in the plurality of absorptive regions of the biochemical analytical unit to selectively associate with the ligand or the receptor contained in the reaction solution.
