PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load driving device capable of improving resistance against failure as entire system by discharging a remaining electric charge to a load of standby system when a main power source is disconnected. SOLUTION: When a power source is turned off, a control circuit 9 turns off a system main relay 2, stops a driving system inverter 4, and turns off a switching transistor 32. The control circuit 9 further turns on a switching transistor 31 and continues driving of an A/C inverter 7. Thus, the remaining electric charge in a capacitor 5 is stepped down by a coil 35 through a convertor 3, and is further discharged to an A/C compressor 11 through the A/C inverter 7. The control circuit 9, if it determines that a voltage between a node N1 and a node N4 becomes lower than a prescribed value, turns off the switching transistor 31 and stops the A/C inverter 7, thus a discharge control is completed.
