PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and the like capable of enhancing a recall factor while keeping retrieval precision, in retrieval as to document knowledge. SOLUTION: In the present invention, a syntax interpretation or the like is conducted as to the original, and the knowledge constituted of one or a plurality of words is prepared to be controlled. The knowledge extracted from the original is structurized to be brought into knowledge structure (for example, graphic structure constituted of a node and an edge or the like). At least one link to a conception item in a hierarchized conception dictionary most similar to meaning of the knowledge is allowed to be set in each knowledge structural- element. The matched related knowledge structural-element and/or the related objective knowledge structural-element are/is retrieved from the controlled knowledge structure, as to a word included in an input retrieval query.
