An explosive contains silicon fuel (1-13 %), mineral oil (0.5-4.5 %), trotyl (2-18.0 %), additive - ferrous iron oxide or oxide ferric iron, or a mixture of said oxides (0.4-6.0 %),and ammonium nitrate û the rest. Proposed is embodiment without use of trotyl .The invention provides reduction of trotyl content or excluding thereof from the composition of explosive on the basis of silicon fuel with saving a required level of detonation capacity of the explosive and, as consequence reduction of prices thereof and increasing technical and economic indexes of blasting works.
