摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably generate ozone and stably conduct the inverter control. <P>SOLUTION: A pulse width of an AC output voltage V1 of an inverter 1 is subjected to the PWM control in order to make an injection current I injected into an ozone generating tube 3 agree with a current command value I* prescribed according to a power command value Q* and the control is conducted to generate a plurality of pulses in one cycle of a frequency of a load voltage V2. With such a constitution, as a ripple corresponding to an ON/OFF frequency following the pulse width control appears in the injection current I, if a gap voltage VG is close to a discharge voltage average value Vz, a period while the gap voltage VG is sufficiently higher than the discharge voltage average value Vz and a period while the gap voltage VG is sufficiently lower than the discharge voltage average value Vz are produced by the ripple component included in the gap voltage VG. As these periods are a period while the discharge is surely conducted and a period while the discharge is never conducted respectively, the discharge state does not stay in a period while the existence of the discharge is uncertain, so that the stable discharge can be conducted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
