PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital still camera the heat dissipation performance of which can be enhanced without imparing its downsizing. SOLUTION: In the digital still camera where a plurality of camera components including a power battery 26 and an image recording medium 25 in a main body surrounded body outer covers 51, 52, a plurality of the camera components are contained by using metallic plates 53 to 55 so as to partition the main body internal space into a plurality of component containing spaces and at least part of the metallic plates is connected to the outer covers 51, 52.
