PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm for speaker having a high mechanical strength and exhibiting excellent heat dissipation effect in which high resonance peak at a resonance point unique to a metal plate is suppressed. SOLUTION: Resonance peak is suppressed by forming a softening agent layer 32 composed of butyl rubber, emulsion based rubber, elastomer, and the like, at least on one surface of a diaphragm 20 composed of a light metal.
