<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment which makes sound of a fan device hard to reach an operator to solve a noise problem without using a sound insulating material. <P>SOLUTION: A case body 4 of the electronic equipment has the built-in fan device 19 cooling a semiconductor package 13, and legs 10 for forwardly tilting the case body are arranged at the rear part of the case body. The fan device has an impeller 26 which is rotated by a motor 37 and has a rotation center line X taken along in a thickness direction of the case body, and a casing 25 housing the impeller. The casing includes a suction port 32a facing an upper wall 4b of the case body, and a delivery port 33 continuing to a downstream end of a vortex chamber 46 arranged at the periphery of the impeller, and the air sucked from the suction port at the time of rotation of the impeller is sent to the delivery port through the vortex chamber. The casing of the fan device is held in the posture where the rotation center line of the impeller is taken along in a perpendicular direction when the case body is forwardly tilted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
