<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and convenient grading system for dealing with a test which requires description type answers. <P>SOLUTION: The grading system is provided with a computer 901 and a grading pen 902 having a function for detecting the positional information of a pen point. The computer 901 is provided with: a program 911 for preparing a file associated with a grading template indicating an entry position with the grading pen; and a program 912 for executing grading processing on the basis of the basic information of grading and the positional information of the pen point. The computer 901 decides whether the answer is correct, wrong, or score-applicable from the kind of a symbol entered at a specific position with the grading pen, that is, a○mark, a×mark, and a▵mark.
