PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oil film-removing agent which simply removes the oil film adhered on a surface of a ceramic, and to provide a method for removing the oil film by using the same. SOLUTION: The oil film-removing agent contains a colloidal liquid containing amorphous silica in water and/or an organic solvent, and the method for removing the oil film uses this agent.
