The device for fixing an underside (2) on a U-shaped roller shutter caisson tunnel having lateral ends closed by support walls (7) comprises a runner (8) able to move axially relative to the lateral ends. In a locking position the runner extends partly above the underside internal face (9) and projects relative to the lateral edges (11) to engage in a strike plate housing (12). The runner is clipped on the underside front edge (18) by means of a hook (17).
