<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground survey system for a building site, which enables an engineer having no high expert knowledge or experience concerning a ground survey to easily conduct a high-quality ground survey, and enables the engineer to easily compile a result of the ground survey in the form of a report. <P>SOLUTION: The ground survey system comprises a means for storing measured data 9 obtained by measuring a bearing force of the ground of the building site, a means for storing site map data, a means for storing points of measurement 11 of the measured data 9 in association with the site map data 10, a means for storing foundation specification determining conditions 12, an input means 4, a soil profile preparing means for preparing an estimated soil profile 14 of the building site, based on the measured data 9, the site map data 10, and the points of measurement 11, and a foundation specification determining means for determining foundation specifications fitted for the building site concerned, based on the estimated soil profile 14 and the foundation specification determining conditions 12.
