<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow passes having respectively different fault restoration types to coexist in one network and to preferentially restore a pass of a more reliable fault recovery type. <P>SOLUTION: A node controller 21 in a node 2 stores a link attribute list indicating the band utilization states of respective links into a memory 21b and manages unallocated bands, unreserved bands of each SRLG (shared risk link group) ID, allocated and shared preparatory bands, extra traffic bands, and the like. Pass bands are subtracted from unallocated bands and unreserved bands corresponding to all SRLG IDs in the case of setting a current path and a preparatory path of a fault restoration type '1+1', from the unreserved bands corresponding to all the SRLG IDs in the case of setting the preparatory paths of '1+1' and from the unreserved bands corresponding to all the SRLG IDs through which the corresponding current path passes in the case of setting shared preparatory paths, and only when all unreserved bands are≥0, the setting of the paths is allowed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
