<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflector optical fiber sensor unit and an optical fiber unit which are capable of: decreasing the fluctuation of a detecting region caused by an increase and a decrease in threshold value, and by a threshold value fluctuation caused by a noise; increasing the detecting region in size; making an amount of light interception be uniform; and generating no crosstalk. <P>SOLUTION: A reflector optical fiber sensor unit providing a lens 13 having a concave face for a first face 13a and a cylindrical face for a second face 13b. A distance between an outgoing radiation end face 11c of a sending light optical fiber 11 or an incoming radiation end face 12c of a receiving light optical fiber 12 and the first face 13a is forced to be shorter than the focal distance of the lens 13. An outgoing radiation end portion 11a of the sending light optical fiber 11 and an incoming radiation end portion 12a of the receiving light optical fiber 12 are arranged in parallel in such a manner that they meet close with both surfaces, a longitudinal direction central axis of the portion in which both meet close is forced to be accorded with an optical axis, and the sending light optical fiber 11 and the receiving light optical fiber 12 are arranged in the longitudinal direction of a cross section which is vertical to the optical axis of the lens 13.
