PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic image development having superior environmental stability and stable fixing characteristics and storage property and hardly causing spent.

SOLUTION: In the toner for electrostatic image development, the weight concentration of polar-solvent-soluble material is≤1,000μg based on the toner. The binder resin used for the toner is preferably a polyol resin having an epoxy resin portion and a polyoxyalkylene portion at least in its main chain.
