PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of becoming unstable in a discharge characteristic of a panel due to a shortage of ageing time of a PDP, deteriorating a phosphor by excessive ageing, and becoming long in process tack time. SOLUTION: This ageing processing method of the plasma display panel can accurately determine finishing time of ageing processing, and is composed of a step of starting the ageing processing by supplying source voltage to the plasma display panel, and a step of determining ageing finishing time by a change in a current waveform by monitoring the change in the current waveform impressed on the panel.
