摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technique for making practical a sensor utilizing a change in electric characteristics in a carbon nano tube (CNT) according to a change in various kinds of external stimuli. SOLUTION: In a sensor S1, a pair of thin-film-like electrode sections 21 and 22 that are closely arranged on the surface of an insulating substrate 1 are electrically connected via a number of CNT 3. In this sensor S1, a change in electric characteristics according to a change in external stimuli such as light, magnetism, pressure, distortion, temperature, and the type of atmospheric gas, and atmospheric pressure in the CNT 3 can be taken out as an electric signal by connecting a detection circuit to the pair of electrode sections 21 and 22.
