PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel gage by which a fuel residual volume can be always recognized clearly, by which a cost reduction effect is high and which is of high reliability. SOLUTION: Respective measured results by a main measuring means 11 and an auxiliary measuring means 12 are composited, and the fuel residual volume corresponding to them is calculated. The fuel residual volume is compared with a threshold value by a comparison and decision means 3, and it is decided in which fuel tank a liquid level fluctuates. When it is decided that the liquid level fluctuates in an auxiliary fuel tank 2, an indication angle range of a pointer 6a is allocated on the basis of the total volume of a main fuel tank 1 and the auxiliary fuel tank 2. When it is decided that the liquid level fluctuates in the tank 1, the indication angle range of the pointer 6a is allocated on the basis of a volume of the tank 1, and the pointer 6a is turned and controlled over the allocated indication angle range.
