PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight embedded material, which can be efficiently and economically arranged with high accuracy, a hollow slab using the same, its construction method, and a precast concrete slab. SOLUTION: In an embedded material unit 1, the lightweight embedded materials 2, which are arranged at each proper interval, can be split into upper and lower parts; at least one of the upper and lower parts, into which the embedded material 2 is split, is coupled by a coupling material 3; the embedded material 2 includes a spherical shape or a capsule shape; and a cross-shaped notched groove 11 is formed in the upper part of the embedded material 2. Additionally, the embedded material 2 and the coupling material 3 are integrally molded, and a protrusion 14 is formed between the adjacent embedded materials 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
