PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biparting opening and closing door mechanism having a door body allowed to be opened and closed from both right and left sides in simple structure. SOLUTION: This biparting opening and closing door mechanism includes the door body 103 opened and closed to a storing part. The storing part has a body piece 10 mounted on the upper part thereof, and a slide piece 20 mounted on the body piece to be slid only in the longitudinal direction. The body piece 10 has hole parts 12 where shafts 31 projected on both sides of a rotating piece 30 mounted on the top face of the door body 103 can be inserted from the door body side. The slide piece 20 has locking parts 21 formed on both end positions of the door body side so that when the shafts 31 are inserted in the hole parts 12 of the body piece, its ejection is regulated. The slide piece is provided with connecting means 40 disposed on both sides to connect the body piece 10 and the slide piece 20, whereby the slide piece is slid to the body piece by insertion and ejection of the shafts 31 to the hole parts 12. Thus, the rotating piece 30 is separated from the body piece 10 on either of right and left sides so that the door body 103 can be opened or closed on both right and left sides.
