<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brightness enhancing film which is prepared by laminating a protective film, a cholesteric liquid crystal and a quarter-wave plate via adhesive layers in this order and which has excellent impact resistance and durability. <P>SOLUTION: In the brightness enhancing film where the protective film, a first adhesive layer, the cholesteric liquid crystal layer, a second adhesive layer, and the quarter-wave plate are laminated in this order, the brightness enhancing film has 0.1 to 1.5 MPa dynamic storage shear elasticity of the first adhesive layer placed between the protective film and the cholesteric liquid crystal layer at 25°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
