SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time required to transmit and display image data without lowering an image quality.

SOLUTION: The apparatus for transmitting the image of a transmission side comprises a transmission frame memory 1 for storing n-bit image data to be transmitted, and a transmission data transforming circuit 2 for sequentially reading the image data stored in the memory 1 from bit of a high luminance side and transmitting the data to a reception side. The apparatus for transmitting the image of the reception side comprises a reception frame memory 7 and reception data transforming circuit 6 receiving the bits from the apparatus for transmitting at the transmission side to store the reception bits in the corresponding bit storage area of the memory 7.
