PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To narrow the spacing between data tracks by the decreased vibrations of a spindle system including disks to be air excited by high-speed rotation of a disk device. SOLUTION: The disk device is provided with an air bearing plate 10 facing the surface of an information recording disk 1 of a rotary type, adjusting means 11 capable of adjusting the axial spacing between the air bearing surface 10a of the plate 10 and the surface of the disk 1 by moving the plate 10 toward the axial direction of the disk 1 and fixing means 8, 9, 11, and 43 for fixing the plate 10 in the state that the axial spacing is adjusted.
