PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerated cellulosic yarn having the same excellent dyeability as that of cotton, and to provide a processing method for obtaining the same. SOLUTION: This regenerated cellulosic yarn is characterized by having a color difference of ≤7 NBS between the regenerated cellulosic yarn and cotton, when dyed with a direct dye (C. I. Direct Blue 78). The regenerated cellulosic yarn is obtained by subjecting a regenerated cellulosic yarn to a high pressure hot water treatment in a cotton-like or yarn state. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
