PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a runner vane driving device and a guide vane driving device that have high durability against a large load when applied to an intermediate or large sized movable-blade water turbine and require no complex mechanism such as a synchronous mechanism, and also to provide the movable-blade water turbine having the devices. SOLUTION: The runner vane driving device comprises an electric motor 31, a screw shaft 33, a plurality of screw bodies 34 and 34, a spindle 35 fixed to the screw bodies 34 and 34, and an operating rod 36 connected between the spindle 35 and a runner vane. The guide vane driving device comprises an electric motor 41, a screw shaft 43, a plurality of screw bodies 44 and 44, a spindle 45 fixed to the screw bodies 44 and 44, and an operating rod 46 connected between the spindle 35 and a runner vane.
