PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dyeing capable of dyeing a material to be dyed simultaneously in multiple number of colors. SOLUTION: This method for dyeing is provided by (1) immersing a part of the material to be dyed such as a cloth in a solution containing safflower extract containing multiple number of pigments having different molecular weights and colors, (2) immersing the knotted material to be dyed or (3) immersing wrinkled material to be dyed, then irradiating the material to be dyed with a microwave, or (4) irradiating the microwave to the material to be dyed in a state that a heavy weight material is loaded on the material to be dyed that is immersed in the solution. As the multiple number of pigments having different molecular weights and colors, carthamin and safflower yellow extracted from the safflower can be exemplified. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
