PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry nonwoven fabric having a strength equal to or higher than that of a resin bonded nonwoven fabric composed of a nylon fiber, etc., of conventional technique and having chemical resistance, reducing occurrence of harmful gas in combustion and produceable relatively inexpensively by using only polypropylene fiber, and to provide a bulky article. SOLUTION: The dry nonwoven fabric is obtained by bonding fiber intersecting points of a web composed of a synthetic fiber with an emulsion- based binder. The web is composed of 100% polypropylene fiber and the fiber intersecting points are bonded through an adhesive promoter containing a chlorinated polypropylene-acrylate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
