<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The connector consists of resin housings 11, 21 each mounting inside either a male terminal 14 or a female terminal 24, and a resin core 30 inserted into the housings. The housings 11, 21 are so made to have each terminal 24, 24 placed on a central axis of a hole part 12, 22 for the core 30 to be fitted into. An outer surface of the core 30 is formed in a symmetric shape at a center line in a tube axis direction, with one side part from the center line inserted exactly into the hole parts 12, 22 of the housing, and also, an inserting hole 32 for a terminal is formed on the central axis. Two housings are provided, one of which, has the female terminal 24 fitted inside to make up a female type connector 20 and the other has the male terminal 14 fitted inside with the core 30 inserted into it to make up a male type connector 10. The both connectors are connected with insertion-coupling through both terminals and the core.
