<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer optical recording medium, in which recording data are reliably and quickly recorded and reproduced on and from each recording layer. <P>SOLUTION: The multilayer optical recording medium 1 is formed by laminating an L1 recording layer 3 and an L0 recording layer 5 on one surface of a base material 2. A difference between the reflection direction (arrow B21) of a laser beam for reproduction or a laser beam for recording emitted toward an arbitrary site (Point P21) in the L1 recording layer 3 and the reflection direction (arrow B20) of the laser beam for reproduction or the laser beam for recording emitted toward a site (Point 20) superimposing on the arbitrary site (Point 21) in the thickness direction of the multilayer optical recording medium 1 in the L0 recording layer 5 adjacent to the L1 recording layer 3 is within 0.1°. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
