<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently distribute various kinds of dynamic image data in existing files in a format that can be reproduced by a cellular phone. <P>SOLUTION: A media file storage device 32 stores media files 1, 2 and 3, which are dynamic image files formed by an arbitrary format. An accumulating device 33 accumulates these files and a voice/image codec information for these files as an intermediate format data. A media file control device 30 multiplexes and generates a voice/image bit stream from the intermediate format data and the voice/image codec information, and an interface conversion device 29 transmits the stream. According to this measure, existing TV cellular phones 25 and 26 can reproduce image data, which is read from the media files 1, 2 and 3 and generated with image data processing protocols of different type. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
