<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to make reproduced light to be incident simultaneously on all regions of information regions of core layers and to enable to obtain accurate reproduced image. <P>SOLUTION: An optical memory element is provided with core layers and clad layers laminated on both surfaces of the core layers, an incident end face for introducing reproducing light reproducing information of an uneven part for information to the core layer is formed in light guide members having a uneven part for information of at least either of boundaries of the core layers and the clad layers, and the element is constituted so that deflection quantityΔt in the incident end face of an information region in which an uneven part for information of the core layer is formed satisfies conditions indicated by equationΔt≤d-t, where, width of a longitudinal direction of reproducing light is assumed to (d), and thickness in an information region of the core layer is assumed to (t). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
