PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing device which is suitable for increasing convenience by simplifying an input of user authentication information while ensuring confidentiality of data. SOLUTION: Information storage means 301 stores information showing whether the first authentication has been done which is performed at the first access to a function providing part providing a cabinet function with an authentication. Information acquisition means 303 obtains the authentication information at the first authentication when the first authentication has been done according to the information stored in the information storage means 301. Information setting means 305 sets the authentication information obtained by the acquisition means 303 as authentication information for utilizing a cabinet function when the first authentication has been done according to the information stored in the information storage means 301.
