PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical shaft windmill stably generating power with high efficiency. SOLUTION: In the vertical shaft windmill having a plurality of symmetrical aerofoil blades disposed around a rotating shaft and rotating about the shaft, the blades have turbulent flow forming accelerating parts at the front edges.
