DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD, PRIVATE BRANCH EXCHANGE, AND PRIVATE BRANCH EXCHANGE NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to make possible to have information in common between a part of exchanges or between all exchanges out of private branch exchanges connected by ISDN circuits. SOLUTION: When data are transmitted between plural private branch exchanges connected mutually by ISDN circuits, an user-user information element is added to a layer 3 message of a D channel and data to be transmitted are contained in the information element content of the user-user information element. The layer 3 message is transmitted to the specified other private branch exchanges out of the plural private branch exchanges using the D channel. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
