PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembling workability. SOLUTION: This optical link device is provided with: an optical communication package 16 having a photoelectric conversion element 19 disposed on an element disposing member 17 and leads 18 for connecting a connection terminal of the photoelectric conversion element to an external apparatus; a seal cap 11 attached to the element disposing member for air-tightly sealing the photoelectric conversion element; a condensing lens 13 for leading incident light to a light receiving element or an optical fiber 22; a housing 2 for disposing at least the optical communication package, the condensing lens and the seal cap; a receptacle 5 connected to the housing and for being connected to an optical connector 20; a sleeve 9 into which the optical fiber is inserted; and a stopper 12 for positioning the optical fiber by abutting the tip of the optical fiber thereon.
