<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structured data output device suitable for printing with the contents in accord with user's preferences. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with a reference priority keeping unit 108 that keeps a reference priority, a print condition input unit 110 that inputs print conditions, a layout unit 114 that performs layout with those whose priorities are set at, or above the reference priority of the reference priority keeping unit 108 among the elements contained in structured document data as the objects, and a reference priority adjusting unit 116 that adjusts the reference priority of the reference priority keeping unit 108.
