OPERATION CONTROL METHOD FOR GAS ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control method for a gas engine which stabilizes an output of the gas engine even if gas having different components and combustion characteristics is used as a fuel. SOLUTION: The operation control method for a gas engine of a gas heat pump type air-conditioner, a refrigeration cycle is formed by circulating a coolant by cooperation of the gas engine using gas as a fuel and a compressor using the gas engine as a driving source. A detection of lean limit of the gas engine is carried out at a predetermined operation condition at the time of steady operation of the gas engine and the kind of the gas is specified by the result. The operation condition is corrected corresponding to the kind of the specified gas and the gas engine is continuously operated by the corrected operation condition. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
