<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rapid and accurate capillary cataphoresis apparatus that can easily adjusted in temperature and is easy to inject samples. <P>SOLUTION: Each end of 48 capillaries 90 is fixed to capillary-retaining tools 91 and 92, both of a sample injection end 90a and a sample outflow end 90b are cut and registered, and the sample outflow end 90b is mounted to the lower section of a sheath flow cell 83 along with 92. Each dummy glass rod 93 is mounted to 92 with the same interval as that of 90. A sheath liquid passes through a retaining tool 82 for fixing sheath flow cells, a flow cell 83, and a retaining tool 84 for fixing the sheath flow cells via a tube 81 from a sheath liquid container 80, flows through a channel flowing into a waste liquid container 86 via a tube 85, and a sample flowing out of 90 is excited by laser beams applied to an area near 90b and is detected by fluorescence, thus eliminating the need for bending the capillary and preventing noise components from remaining in the sheath flow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
