<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component mounting method capable of surely detecting a component to be carried back through a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic component is taken out from a component feeder by a transfer head and transferred to be mounted on a board through this electronic component mounting method. A combination of a first nozzle angle θ1 indicating the θ rotational position of a suction nozzle 8a in a pick-up process of sucking and holding the electronic component, and a second nozzle angle θ2 in a component recognizing process of recognizing the electronic component P held with the suction nozzle 8a by imaging the component P from below, is so set as to make the first nozzle angle θ1 in a preceding mounting turn different from the second nozzle angle θ2 in a following mounting turn in the two consecutive mounting turns. By this setup, it is judged by the angle of rotation of the electronic component P on the acquired image whether the electronic component P is identical or not, so that the electronic component to carry back can be surely detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
