<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for an LCD (liquid crystal display) wherein resolution of the LCD is prevented from being deteriorated, reflection on a surface of the LCD is reduced, and difference in color caused by LCD viewing angle variation or observed between a center part and left and right edge parts of the LCD screen is dissolved. <P>SOLUTION: Respective red, green and blue color filters 2 contain transparent particles with 0.5-5.0 μm particle sizes dispersed therein wherein turbidity (haze value) thereof is mutually identical. The respective color filters contain transparent particles 10 with 0.5-5.0 μm particle size dispersed therein. Ratios of refractive indexes of the transparent particles and the color filters, and further, ratios of average particle size of the transparent particles and central absorption wavelength of the respective color filters are equal among the respective color filters. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
