<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer in which communication processing can be accelerated in a simple and inexpensive configuration when performing communication on the basis of a communication protocol. <P>SOLUTION: AV data inputted via an AV interface 34 are stored in an AV buffer 18 and afterwards, the jumbo packet data of 32 k bytes, for example, are produced in a packet processing part 35. A PCI bus interface 32 outputs data required for transmitting the jumbo packet data to a CPU 21 and the CPU 21 produces header data HD1.
