PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust right and left braking timings to be taken for neutral operation or the like in an electric-motor vehicle for driving each of right and left driving wheels with right and left electric motors. SOLUTION: If a difference in rotational speeds of the right and left electric motors is in excess of a speed difference threshold value, a ratio of the rotational speed of the right electric motor to the rotational speed of the left electric motor is determined in ST21, ST22, and ST23. Each of the right and left electric motors is decelerated by right and left control signal outputs according to the ratio in ST24 and ST25. If ST26 is in NO condition, that is, the rotational speed of the left traveling motor drops to its rotational speed threshold value, or ST27 is in NO condition, that is, the rotational speed of the right traveling motor drops to its rotational speed threshold value, right and left braking means are actuated at the same time to apply braking, thus stopping the electric-motor vehicle.
