PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge which is then and has shutters of simple constitution. SOLUTION: The disk cartridge comprises a cartridge main body including a disk storage part 10d which stores a disk 100 having 1st and 2nd surfaces in a rotatable state so that the 1st surface is exposed to the outside through a disk opening part 12w, a chucking opening part 11c which chucks the disk 100 from outside, and a head opening part 11h for making a head for recording and reproducing signals access the 2nd surface of the disk, and shutters 21 and 22 which open and close the chucking opening part 11c and the head opening part 11h, and is provided with a fall prevention member 23 which prevents the disk 100 from falling when the shutters 21 and 22 are opened.
