The radially orientated opening of the dosing chamber (36) of the unit's dosing component (16) has at least one longish edge (34) which extends diagonally to the direction of rotation of the dosing component and is designed and orientated so that during rotation from the position opening into the container it brushes over the mouth (38) of the container at right angles to the direction of rotation and strips off or cuts off tea leaves protruding in the opening and/or draws them back into the mouth of the container.
