Double-glazed window insert secured to surrounding frame by limited application of bonding agent

A window frame (6) has a double-glazed panel (3, 4) with a surrounding seal (10, 11, 12, 13, 14). A void (9) exists between the double glazing surround (5) and the frame (7). A bonding agent is applied in the void to join the glazing to the frame. The bonding agent is esp. not applied to the window frame corner zones.
