A lamp holder (10) has guiding devices (GDs) (15) that combine with complementary GDs (16) on the rear side (RS) of a reflector (1) as the holder is inserted in a translatory movement along the axis of a paraboloid. At the end of the translatory movement, locking devices (LDs) (17) combine with complementary LDs (18) on the RS of the reflector to fasten the holder on the RS of the reflector. An Independent claim is also included for a reflector for a motor vehicle headlamp.
