The stator and rotor each consist of a packet of rigidly interconnected plates preferably produced by stamping. The stator and rotor plates have the same outer contour but some of them have additional cut-outs inside the outer contour and a defined position in the respective plate packet. Some rotor plates have overlapping of offset cut-outs which with the rotor plates without cut-outs form channels which are closed on the side. The stator and rotor plates may be interconnected by lazer welding, countersunk rivets or countersunk screws, for example.
